Tomorrow I'm going into town to get some elastic band, thread and needles. I'm gonna attempt to sow a dress for my 30th birthday-party in less than a month! (Heeeey, stop laughing!) Sure, I haven't exactly got a good track record when it comes to skills like sowing, knitting and needle-work in general, but I have great faith in this project, and will continue to have so until proven otherwise! ;)
I suppose it helps that the party will be a costume-party, so creative and loony design will fit right in! I've told the guests to show up in outfits that would make Tim Burton proud, and I hope they take my word for it! If I'm lucky, the room will be filled with creatures resembling this (all photos by Google):
